Fuel Tanks Continued
Below is a photo of a very nice lower fuel tank support during fabrication
This is one reason you want your fuel tanks supported properly. I found this one on a pre-instruction airworthiness inspection on a ship that was flying regularly. We were going to be doing auto training. The tank strap was riding on the clutch counter shaft bearing.
The builder had not properly secured the rear fuel tank strap to the frame.
